Switch Mode 800 W and 3 Channel Car Audio Amp.

The converter uses an UC1825 from Unitrode, this IC drives two HUGE and powerfull MOS-FETS IRFP150
Input voltage 11 to 16 volt, input current max load 70 A
Output voltages +30 and -30 balanced
The transformer has a minor problem with heat when running at full load for more than 10 mins,
so a small CPU fan was mounted and two small heat fins was glued on top of the transformer, now it works !!

Here the audio amp with the converter, The Audio amp is 6 mono blocks bridged to 3 outputs
It has active filters, the powerfull bass output has double transistors, so that it can handle the big current peaks
